Inn the Wine Country this week...
It's been a wild week for Northern California weather wise but it looks like the worst is behind us. Joe took this picture from his truck on the way to the Farmhouse this morning.

We hear about flooded roads, mudslides, trees coming down, power outages everywhere - and here we sit at Farmhouse in the middle of mayhem warm, dry, lights on, and the guests still having a great time. We have some guests who come every year for a bike trek. This year they skipped the biking but are still smiling and loving the wine country.
This weekend...still a little drizzly but sure to see some rainbows. Artisan Cheese Festival this weekend- still some tickets left for the Sunday event. I wish I had a picture of the 25 foot long cheese table but how does this look?

Choices...oh, so many choices. Can't wait to get some of the Humboldt Fog from Cypress Grove and revisit my favorite from Bellwether Farms -their very special Carmody.
Down in Sonoma Valley Kunde Winery always has some interesting events but this one really caught my eye- you know we are into the strange and wonderful here in the wine country. At 5:30 this Saturday to celebrate Girlfriend's Getaway Month, they are hosting "Yoga Flow & Vino" - experience a 75 minute yoga class and wine tasting while watching the sunset. Multitasking - Wish I had a picture of that one too!
Things to look forward to:
Watercolor by Linda Unti - herself.
I would like to invite the guests of Farmhouse, our concierges, our devoted readers, and anyone out there in our wacky and wonderful Sonoma County to contribute to our blog. Just leave a comment with anything you think we should talk about and off we go- adventuring together. Help me, please.
Note to self- Don't forget the Peanuts' Movie Debut coming March 31st to the Charles M. Schulz Museum.
