Inn Wine Country this week...Farmtrails, Passport, and Fish Festival
Spring is finally here to stay and our corner of the wine country is embracing it with some wonderful events this weekend. Everything from wine education and celebration with Passport to the Dry Creek Valley, to the Bodega Bay Fish Festival and the blessing of the fleet, and Farmtrails and Blossom, Bees, & Babies.
BR Cohn Winery is featuring the Rolls Royce Classic Car Club at the Car Cruise In on Sunday. Have you tried their olive oil? A little something for everybody, don't you think?
Passport to Dry Creek Valley - 22nd Annual

Passport Weekend showcases 45+ wineries and vineyards with amazing wine, incredible food, and their famous Dry Creek hospitality. A couple of highlights - though with over 45 wineries you might find some of your own- Dry Creek Kitchen ( right on the square in Healdsburg) kicks off the weekend on Friday with live Jazz and culinary delights. Segesio is celebrating with a Big Easy Party featuring some Zydeco and flavors of New Orleans. Meet the winemaker and the owners, often the same people, and learn more about winemaking. What a way to spend spring in the wine country!
(This is a fairly expensive event so the wineries don't get quite as overrun as they do with some of the other events. We have some guests that didn't want to invest in the Passport and they are just focusing on the other 150 or so wineries that aren't participating.)
Bodega Bay Fish Festival - 38th Annual

You'll meet the farmers who grow your food and support the preservation of Sonoma County's rich agricultural heritage.
Here at Farmhouse Inn we get so much from the local farms...everything fresh and wonderful. Here's a picture of Catherine's chickens - they supply some of our breakfast eggs.
When all the local Farmer's markets get up to speed we actually have a different farmer's market every day of the week (except Mondays). We are so lucky to live here!
Next weekend is Mother's Day... what are you doing to honor Mother's everywhere?
