Pastry Chef Pattie Taan has been honing her pastry career for 25 years. After operating a family bakery for 10 years in Hawaii, she returned home
to Sonoma County to work in some of it’s finest restaurants. Her passion for the art of the plated dessert led her to expanding her education at
CIA Greystone, World Pastry Forums, and Le Grand Hotel Du Val Andre in France.
Currently the Pastry Chef at Farmhouse Inn, Forestville, Taan is well known for striking the delicate balance of taste, textures, and temperatures to create an enjoyable dessert experience. Farm fresh fruits and produce provide constant inspiration for her seasonal menus.
When not baking at the Farmhouse, Pattie enjoys horse back riding, spending time with her new born grandson, and teaching baking classes at Sur La Table.
