Lost and Found Winery unites our family, whose roots in Sonoma County extend over five generations, with Master Sommelier and former Farmhouse Wine Director, Geoff Kruth. Geoff watched his vision slowly align with our instincts for preservation of Sonoma County's rich and abundant agricultural heritage.
Lost and Found celebrates the re-discovery and rebirth of an old Bartolomei family vineyard: eight hidden acres on the Russian River Valley's western edge, cooled by wind and fog from the nearby Sonoma Coast. Originally planted, at the turn of the last century, this vineyard furthered our great grandfather’s dream of an old-world style estate winery. Upon his son’s death in WWII, that dream died away. Until now.
With the help of fellow sommelier and winemaker, Megan Glaab, we aspire to release delicious and honest wines of authenticity. Lost and Found is committed to producing wines that affirm the natural bounty of Sonoma County, to be enjoyed at the table amongst family and friends.
Our production is incredibly limited, and is primarily available to guests of Farmhouse Inn. It can be found on select restaurant wine lists, such as French Laundry, Restaurant Gary Danko and Spago. Please visit www.lostandfoundwine.com for more information or to request to be added to our mailing list.
