It Takes a Village to Blossom: The 73rd Annual Apple Blossom Festival and Parade

April 01, 2019

Sonoma Valley in the spring is, without a doubt, one of the most enchanting places in the world: magisterial mountains, gorgeous colonial architecture, world-class wine-making—the list goes on and on. Our greatest asset, however, is our people and the deep sense of community that binds us together. On Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, the town of Sebastopol, just 20 minutes from the Farmhouse Inn, will be celebrating the vibrant diversity of our valley at the 73rd annual Apple Blossom Festival. The fun begins on Saturday at 10 A.M. as marchers step off in the highly-anticipated Apple Blossom Parade. For the rest of the day, downtown will bustle with musical entertainment by live, local bands; artists and artisans selling handmade treasures, including jewelry, apparel, leather goods, drawings, paintings, and photographs; wine tastings by some of the finest winemakers in all of California; and plenty of great eats from local restaurants and cafes. Festivities continue all day on Sunday as well with a half-dozen more killer bands, including headliner and modern blues legend, Joe Louis Walker.

Address: Ives Park and the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 South High Street, Sebastopol, California 95472
