INN SIGHTS TO SONOMA WINE COUNTRY... THE FARMHOUSE INN

Well, we almost did it all last weekend.  My company did not get moving quick enough for the Farmer's Market on Saturday. We went directly to the Healdsburg Water Carnival...music, floatilla, barrel races and root beer floats from Bear Republic Brewery at their booth. Saw a couple of mermaids there too!

 Farmhouse Inn sits right in the middle of Sonoma Wine Country- smack in the center of the Russian River Valley, home of some of the most amazing wines which we celebrate with every day.   I have company coming this weekend and really want to show off to them what Sonoma County is all about above and beyond the wine- Every weekend there is so much to do and see- can't do it all - How to choose?-                                                                                                     

This last week has been a bit crazy here at the Farmhouse Inn (you might say- situation normal!). We had scheduled a photo shoot for our very first video for this week.  Which sounds crazy- who wants to do something like that in our busy season?  But we wanted to include the Bartolomei family ranch and gardens (where Chef Stevo gets some of the produce for the restaurant) and they don't look like too much until later in the season when everything is growing like mad! 

I had such a busy week this week (the grandgirls came up for the holiday- we tried out my new firepit and watched the fireworks over the Russian River) - I did not put shovel to dirt even once...have some making up to do this weekend. 

This week has been focused on celebrations here at Farmhouse Inn...we are all focused on the national celebration of Independence Day but our guests are always celebrating something.  This week we had 3 honeymoon couples in the house...you ought to hear the concierges waxing poetic about each and every one.
