Hotel Policies



We look forward to welcoming you to the Farmhouse Inn and hope you enjoy your vacation (or weekend getaway) in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma wine country. Check-in is between 4 pm and 7 pm. The front desk is manned 24/7 but please let us know if you are arriving after 7 pm. Check out is 12 pm. The Farmhouse Inn is located at 7871 River Road, in the town of Forestville, just south of Healdsburg and west of the Napa Valley and Santa Rosa.

Pets: We love our pets but unfortunately we are not a pet-friendly property.  We will be happy to refer you to a local kennel.

Children: Please let us know if you are bringing children with you for your stay in the wine country. We have local nanny services we are happy to book for you during your stay. Minor children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the property. The responsible adult must agree in writing not to leave a minor child unattended on the premises at any time during their stay and to control the minor's behavior during their stay so as to preserve the expected peace and quiet of other guests and to prevent any injury to any person or damage to any property.

Room reservations require a deposit of one night of the stay, preferably on a major credit card.  Due to the small size of our inn, we are greatly affected by untimely cancellations and we firmly adhere to our cancellation policy below.

Cancellation: To confirm reservation a deposit of one night’s room rate is required at the time of booking. This is refundable, less a $50 administrative fee, if cancelled at least 14 days in advance of arrival. At 14 days prior to arrival, we will charge the remaining balance of the room and tax charges to the credit card on file. At this point, the entire reservation is non-refundable. Should cancellation occur within this 14 day window, we will issue a voucher valid for 50% of the total amount charged that may be used toward a future stay within one year. Reducing the length of stay or an early departure within 14 days of your arrival is considered a cancellation. Due to the small size of our inn, cancellations affect us significantly; therefore, we must hold firmly to our cancellation policy. For this reason we strongly suggest the purchase of travel insurance and highly recommend www.Travelexinsurance.com or www.insuremytrip.com. Restaurant: The Farmhouse restaurant is open for dinner from 5:30 Thursday through Monday (closed Tuesday & Wednesdays).

  • Holidays: Please note that every year the Farmhouse is closed on Super Bowl Sunday and Christmas Day. To inquire about other holidays please call the reservations team at 707.887.3300.

  • Reservations: The Farmhouse offers a small and intimate dining experience. We strongly urge you to reserve in advance. We request a credit card number to hold all reservations. Please note that we are switching to Reserve.com for all restaurant reservations. Click here to make your reservation online.

  • Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $25/person fee.

  • Menu Prices: Please note that menu prices will increase by $5 on May 1st, 2017. If you have any questions please contact the reservations team.
