Situated at the southern tip of Alexander Valley, near the confluence of the Knights Valley and Chalk Hill appellations, the 53-acre estate includes vineyards planted to Bordeaux varieties, a state-of-the-art winery and caves dug into the hillside adjoining the winery. Lancaster Estate is a certified California Sustainable Vineyard & Winery and employs farming and winemaking techniques to maintain the integrity of the wines origins. The estate crafts limited production wines made exclusively from classic Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc) singularly identifiable as Lancaster Estate.

      Alley 6

Krystle and Jason Jorgensen founded Alley 6 Craft Distillery in 2012. As artisans and business owners, the Jorgensen’s process is defined by a love for the craft and a deep appreciation for spirits. Alley 6 is, first and foremost, a small independent family-owned business, built by thrifty nickels and a lot of brow sweat. Amidst some of the best wineries, cideries and breweries in the land, the distillery is a dream come true. Krystle & Jason first began to develop an interest in beer and winemaking after moving to Northern California. Jason started slinging drinks at a steakhouse where they sell some of the best whiskies in the world and soon fell headfirst into the craft-distilling arena. They began attending tastings and shows, touring local distilleries, and eventually going on a life-changing trip to Scotland. Alley 6 is truly a small batch craft distillery that delivers you a one of a kind experience. The distillery produces premium spirits in small batches using traditional distilling techniques. Two 250-gallon Alembic copper pot stills chug away to create our complex spirits. Every part of the process is done right here at the distillery in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California—from milling the grain, to mashing, fermenting, distilling, barreling, and bottling. Alley 6 is focused on quality ingredients, a hands-on process and unique flavor profiles. Experimenting with every step in the process has helped to better understand the effects of subtle choices on the final product resulting in spirits with deep complexity and character unlike anything you’ve tasted before.Farmhouse guest will enjoy a specialized tour of the production facility, learn about how they got started and the distilling process, and sample their Rye Whiskey, Single Malt Whiskey, Harvest Gin (made with Viognier grapes), Apple Brandy, Spiced Peach Liqueur, Candy Cap Bitters, and (new!) canned Old Fashioned Cocktails.

      Taylor Lane Organic Coffee

Roasted in Sonoma County Since 1993. Taylor Lane Organic Coffee is a 27year old Sonoma County company that is owned by two local families. When they first fired up their roaster in 1993, the number of organic coffee farms around the world was limited. They did not let that stop them, but instead they committed to providing customers with the best, most sustainable coffees they could find. Over the years they have partnered with more and more farmers as they worked toward certification. Subsequently, they have been able to expand their offerings and roast an organic coffee for every taste. Currently organic coffee is more widely available than ever, and they take pride in the part they have played in bringing it to the mainstream. While they no longer roast in the barn on that serene 100 acre farm that sits at the end of Taylor Lane, their commitment remains the same: to make delicious organic coffee that brings people joy. Their strong relationships within Sonoma County have helped them in their  endeavor to become a socially responsible company. Early on they forged a partnership with Farmhouse Inn and they are honored that Farmhouse has been serving their coffee ever since. It was clear from the beginning that they were aligned philosophically in the belief that community, family values and sustainability go hand in hand. At Taylor Lane they pride themselves on seed to cup sustainability. They embrace stewardship at every step in the coffee process by taking care of people and the planet whenever and however they can. Like wine grapes in Sonoma County, the flavor enhancement of organic coffee beans depends on the growing conditions and processing methods of each region. They hold in high esteem their organic, Fair Trade Certified farmers who provide them with exceptional beans, their dedicated employees and their local business partners. Each step in the coffee supply chain provides opportunities to choose sustainable practices. Coffee is a gift to us from millions of farming families around the world, and they must be treated as such; never forgetting the love, care and painstaking labor that goes into cultivating a favorite crop of many.
